How it Works

Those who have been automatically enrolled in Veterans of Future Wars, will receive a full membership kit by the end of February 2003. If you do not receive your membership kit by February 28th 2003 then contact your local Veterans of Future Wars office immediately.
Your membership kit will include detailed instructions, and a Future War Selection Form. Simply tick the box* next to any war you wish to participate in, and return the form in the enclosed postage paid envelope.
Within a few weeks you will receive confirmation of the wars which you will be entitled to participate in, as well as a set of unsigned Prepaid Combat Cards totaling the value of your service. Prepaid Combat Cards are issued in denominations of 5 days, 10 days, 20 days, 50 days, and 100 days.
You must sign each card and write a secret pin number in the white box labeled PIN on the back of the card. Next use the special silver ink and stencil kit included in the package to paint over the number. Make sure that the PIN is fully covered. Finally, return the completed Prepaid Combat Cards in the enclosed postage paid envelope. You will receive a check for the full value of the cards within two weeks.
That's all there is to it. When we start one of your selected wars someone at the Veterans of Future Wars will select one or more cards of the appropriate value, and scratch off the paint concealing the PIN. You will then be contacted to arrange your service for the duration indicated on the cards.
